Terms & Consumer Rights
Last updated: 9 September 2026.
1. Website enquiries are not contracts
This website lets you ask for information, a survey or a quotation. Sending a form, using AI chat/call or speaking to us by telephone does not by itself create a contract or require you to buy anything.
2. Quotations and prices
Before work is agreed, we will provide a description of the proposed service and the price or the method by which the price will be calculated. Any mandatory fees, taxes or charges that apply must be made clear before you commit. Additional work or variations should be agreed before they are charged.
3. Service standard
Consumer services must be performed with reasonable care and skill. Information we give you about the service, where it is taken into account when you decide to contract, may become legally binding. Nothing in these terms removes or restricts your statutory rights.
4. Written scope and workmanship terms
The written quotation or contract should set out the agreed scope, materials where relevant, price, payment stages, expected timing and any workmanship or guarantee terms. Claims about guarantees apply only to the extent stated in writing.
5. Distance and off-premises contracts
If a consumer contract is concluded at a distance or away from our business premises, statutory cancellation rights may apply. For many service contracts the cancellation period is 14 days from the day after the contract is made. We will provide the legally required pre-contract information and confirmation in a durable form where those rules apply.
If you expressly ask us to begin a service during a cancellation period, you may have to pay a proportionate amount for work properly carried out before you cancel. Where a service is fully performed during the cancellation period after the legally required express request and acknowledgement, the cancellation right may end. Special rules can apply to genuinely urgent repairs requested by the consumer.
6. Model cancellation notice

I/We give notice that I/We cancel my/our contract for the following service: ____________________
Contract date: __________ Name: ____________________
Address: ______________________________________________

7. Complaints
Please contact us first using the details on the Business Information page. We will consider complaints fairly and will not restrict your right to seek advice from Citizens Advice, Trading Standards through the appropriate referral route, a court or another competent body.
8. Reviews and endorsements
We do not knowingly publish fake or misleading consumer reviews or misleading aggregate ratings. See our review policy.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Governing law
These website terms are governed by the law applicable to the consumer and trader relationship in the United Kingdom. Consumers retain any mandatory rights that apply to them.
